Situated at the foot of the Massif du Carroux, at the heart of the parc naturel régional Haut Languedoc, Mons la Trivalle is a village full of charm and an exceptional tourist spot.

It has approximately 530 inhabitants living either in the village or its hamlets (Ornac, la Voulte, Héric, la Coste, le Verdiere haut etc) which are grouped around Mons ( the mountain) and la Trivalle (the three valleys)

Mostly known for the magnificent Gorges d’Héric, a site of rare natural beauty, Mons la Trivalle is an ideal starting point for hikers.

It is also the start of the piste verte, the old railway line, which has been transformed into a cycle track running as far as Corniou, but is also used by walkers and horse riders.
