LA FEMME ALLONGEE
According to legend, Cebenna, a powerful and beautiful Titan fell head over heels in love but disappointment followed and sealed her fate. In despair she climbed into the mountains and lay down on the Carroux to die. Her form transposed, by nature into stone, is there for eternity. Thus Cebenna gave her name to the Cévennes.
